The large kitchen on the first floor is the bright heart of the house and offers seating for up to 11 people. It is equipped with two hobs, an oven, air fryer, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, sink and all essential kitchen equipment, from crockery and cutlery to pots and pans. Five refrigerators provide plenty of cooling space even when the house is fully occupied. The balcony with additional seating can be accessed directly from the kitchen.

The balcony directly adjoining the large kitchen provides an additional comfortable seating area for 4 to 6 people. Two tables, seat cushions, lighting, shelf space and ashtrays make it practical and pleasant to use. Its direct connection to the kitchen is especially convenient – ideal for sitting together or simply stepping outside for some fresh air.

The step-free daylight bathroom on the ground floor is spacious and practically equipped. It features a shower, washbasin, toilet and urinal as well as a seating option. A mirror, hairdryer and useful shelf space complete the room. Hand soap and an initial supply of toilet paper are provided. Bath towels can be booked on request.

The attic seating area offers a corner bench with space for 4 to 6 people and provides an additional cosy place to sit away from the kitchen. It is especially popular for card and board games with family or friends. The seating area is located in the anteroom to the Trier and Lübeck rooms, creating a small additional retreat on the top floor.

The cosy corner sofa on the top floor is an inviting place to relax and unwind. It is especially pleasant in the evening. Through the dormer windows you can enjoy lovely views across Kransberg and its rooftops. The area is located in the anteroom to the Trier and Lübeck rooms and complements the nearby seating corner with another comfortable place to retreat.

The private courtyard has a covered seating area for 8 to 11 people, making it a pleasant place to sit together even in changeable weather. A charcoal barbecue with suitable barbecue utensils is provided. Seat cushions, lighting and a power connection are also available, so the area can be used comfortably in the evening as well.

Beyond the bedrooms, Holiday House “Zum Burgfried” offers many practical and personal details. From the bright entrance and staircase to the courtyard and the views over Kransberg and the castle, these photos give an additional impression of the house and its immediate surroundings.

Entrance area & staircase

The entrance area is bright and clearly laid out. Coat storage, shelves and information about excursions and leisure activities are easy to reach. The staircase connects the floors via a wide stone stairway with a handrail.

Courtyard & outdoor area

The courtyard provides space for several vehicles and leads directly to the entrances and covered outdoor areas. Small decorative touches, plants and lighting create a personal atmosphere during the day and in the evening.

Views around the house

From the upper parts of the house there are lovely views across Kransberg, towards the church, over the wooded Taunus hills and up to the castle. The peaceful location of the house can be seen immediately from these perspectives.
